Sounds so futuristic, doesn’t it? “Substack” and “Android” … the first word didn’t exist a decade ago and the other has added meaning since Philip K. Dick wrote the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, later adapted to become “Blade Runner.” Anyway, if you, like me, are resisting inevitable world domination by the iPhone, SS now has an app for you. (The IOS app has been around for a year or so.) I’ve been beta-testing this one for a few months, and I can attest that it’s sleek, slick, and everything else beginning with “sl,” except slow.

So here I am!
I think Substack is great. Or at least, it seems like it could be, with more buy-in. Hoping it blossoms like the old blogosphere of 10-15 years ago, but better.
I really miss your old website. I used to download your show as an mp3 and walk my dog listening to your great interviews and rants, but once that was no longer available, I bailed as a paying subscriber. Seems to be another case of the unintended consequences of the new and "better" technological solution. Miss you and my old landline, rotary phone.
This android user just got very excited.

Weird. I'll look into it. Not sure why it won't let you comment.
It’s resolved.. but now I’d rather read the comments than write one. C’est la vie.

Why not use an app?
That's what she said.
