Hey Chris, great episode, maybe the best one so far this year. I just had one question though. Can I borrow your bedroom Spanish speaking technique? I wonder if it will work for me?

I have to admit that this episode is the first I've listened to in about 18 months. Up until then I listened from the very early days and would never miss an episode. My reasons for opting out for that recent period I think was a kind of complex 'its not you, it'e me' scenario.

However I'm glad to be back, and missed the intro ramblings with quotes like 'One way to measure success is by how much or how little time one has spent doing things that they didn’t wish to do', which utterly aligns with my philosophy for the past 3 decades.

And it also aligns with why you took a break when you weren't feeling it -- something I appreciate. Welcome back, Marc.

Hey Chris, I hope you’re doing well brother. I’m just halfway through the intro and the thought struck me that “Faster, Slower and More Authentic” perhaps should be the title of your next book which explains just stay, how to stay well adjusted in a maladjusted world, changing the parameters of success etc. I’m sure you’ve thought about it so doubt my point is new.

Thanks, Igor. I think about it a lot, but I feel like it's a book that's been written so many times already. I keep getting tripped up on the contradictions inherent in striving to write something about the futility of striving.

This is a great conversation between 2 super communicators. I found myself thinking to myself if you were both using verbal jujitsu on each other. 😀 I’m gonna get that book and learn some jujitsu of my own so I can stop using emojis in my writing 😉

You're welcome.

I'm just listening to it right now. Since you're thinking about Finite and Infinite Games very often, how about reading it in a book club? I would very much like this.
