What a great interview!

Chris asked so many great questions and drew out a lot of information that helped me visualize the experience. Nick is such a great guest with his experiences and the way he articulates them.

Of course, it's sideways snowing in Utah while I'm listening, I had some great visuals as he's describing driving to the base for the first time.

Hi Chris,

I love Melville’s short story- have you seen the film “Bartleby,” starring Crispin Glover? Also, how do I sign up for the book club discussions?

No. I think the only film I've seen him in was River's Edge, which was crazy! Send me an email and I'll explain the book club thing. thatchrisryan at gmail.

It's been at least a decade since I read or viewed either work, but I remember the film being true to the mood and tone of the story. Plus, Crispin Glover is terrifically creepy...

This is a great conversation - and I’m only half way thru.

I’m in Sydney Australia and I love the insight it’s given me on sun movements - in the Antarctic summer the sun sits permanently in the sky when our days (here down under) are long.

Daylight and sunshine are my life motivations and I too could go nuts without the sun showing its face for months.

Chris, you’re asking every question that I want to know about. Thank you

I’m already freezing my balls here in the dark north. Today was -27 degrees and only 4 hours of light. I would much rather go somewhere sunny. Greetings from Finland.
