Hey everyone -
Greetings from Athens, Greece. It’s hot here. Pre-heated to 350° oven hot. Your car broke down just outside Phoenix at 2pm in July and you’re wearing thermal underwear hot. I’ll gladly watch Police Academy 7 for the third time today if you don’t make me leave this air-conditioned cinema in Bangkok hot.
From Athens, we’ll be flying to LA, where we’ll linger for a week or so before heading to Montana (see above) probably via Colorado and Wyoming, although the route will depend on weather, fire, and smoke conditions. While in LA, we’ll be attending Rick Beato’s event on August 20th and the Ancestral Health Symposium from August 18th to the 20th. Say hi if you’ll be at either of those.
Once we get out on the road, we’ll be setting up some local get-togethers where you weirdos can come and meet each other (and us). Find more info on those over on Anya’s website.
In other news, two spots have opened up for the Sex at Dawn Retreat in Montana in early September. I guess Cameron and Melayne set up another tent or something. They are movement/yoga/martial arts experts who live on an Edenic piece of land in Montana. We’ll be talking about sex, relationship, movement, dynamics, truth, and whatever else comes up. And there will be plenty of rolling around on the floor and impressive feats of flexibility, no doubt. Hope you can join us here, there, or elsewhere.
If you’re a paying subscriber, here’s a link to this month’s open thread, where we’ll be talking (mostly) about what we’ve been reading, watching, and listening to. And here’s a Spotify playlist of some of my favorite podcast episodes I’ve listened to lately. For more of that kind of thing, here’s the periodic summary of stuff I’ve been reading, listening to, and watching, called “Voices in my Head.” It’s bonus material for paying subscribers. I also do an audio version of it, for folks who prefer to listen rather than read.
Awesome, I'll be a Rick Beato's event on the 20th in LA. Love that guy, excited for the show. Thanks for letting us know about it.
