Had an awesome month-long trip up to Montana and back. On the way up, we came around a bend in middle-of-nowhere NW Colorado and saw darkness on the road ahead. At first, I thought it was some kind of mudslide, but as we got closer, it became clear that we’d happened upon a Mormon cricket infestation. It went on for miles. Biblically disgusting, it was.
We tend to take a lot of back roads on our journeys, which sometimes leaves us on roads that are a bit bumpier than anticipated but with lovely views.
Once we got to the Budokon compound, our crew showed up and we had a truly fantastic few days getting to know some of the sweetest, funniest, smartest people you could hope to find by a bonfire.
