For the past week or so, I’ve been pulling bins out of our storage locker and choosing what lucky items to bring into the little cabin we’ve rented and what to return to the perpetual purgatory of waiting for me to finally grow up and own a structure big enough to house my stuff (and me).
Gradually, a third category has emerged: useful stuff that I’m never going to use, so there’s no point in keeping it. I could try to sell it, but I’d rather give things to friends than sell them to strangers. Since I consider you my friends, here’s a bunch of stuff that’s yours for the taking. (Stay tuned, as I imagine there will be more of these give-aways as I unpack more stuff.)
The only rules are:
You pay shipping (if you’re outside the US, I’m afraid none of this stuff is worth what you’d pay to ship it).
You want it for yourself or someone you love (not to re-sell it).
You’re a subscriber to my Substack.
I’ll pick randomly from requests that come in within 24 hours of posting this (for stuff multiple people want), and if nobody requests an item in 24 hours, I’ll open it up to free subscribers on a first-come, first-served basis. (24 hours has passed. Not much left, but let me know if you want the ResMed AirSense10 accessories).
If you want something, please send me an email at thatchrisryan@gmail.com with “giveaway” in the subject line, include your name and mailing address.
"The best place to store extra food is in my neighbors belly." A little prehistoric aphorism that somehow still applies in our ultra-modern technology filled world. Maybe it should be changed to, "The best place curate my technology is in my global neighbors house."
All joking aside, I think this is a great way to reduce waste and benefit others at the same time.

That’s nice of you Chris!!
