Men who love women: epic/romantic.
18

Happy solstice! In this one, I respond to a lobster fisherman’s question about why he gets restless in relationships. I yammer on about the difference between a “romantic” approach to loving women vs. an “epic” approach, and how each can play out in terms of loving her righteously.

Intro music: “Brightside of the Sun,” by Basin and Range. Outro: “Homens,” by Manu Chao.

And now for something extra, just for Substack subscribers, an appreciation of a great song by Jim Croce, who was one of the most famous singer/songwriters alive for a brief time when he died in a plane crash in 1973.

(Also, the discount code for Athletic Brewing came through! To be clear, they don’t sponsor this podcast. This is just a perk for my audience. You can stock up at athleticbrewing.com and save 20% on your first order with code CHRISRYAN20 at checkout or find them on store shelves near you using the store finder at athleticbrewing.com. I recommend the Run Wild IPA. )
